The Earth has been inundated with mutant food in this quirky title from indie developer, Still Running. You are tasked with battling off the hordes in The Walking Vegetables, gaining upgrades along the way and taking on new areas and bosses. A wacky twin stick shooter that can be played alone or in co-op. There’s plenty to enjoy in this simple, but well-executed game.

This delightful experience from Garden Shed Studios first entry onto Steam has a distinct arcade feel to it while blending hack and slash, dungeon crawling gameplay with rogue like mechanics. Challenging, varied and visually lovely, Super Stone Legacy is a game with significant amounts of re-playability that offers a vast amount of enjoyment.

This early access title from Indie developer oddByte is their first foray into the gaming industry as a studio. Rogues Like Us is a perfectly good entry into the rogue-lite genre pool. An admirable first offering that doesn’t strike outside the young studios experience and as a result creates a competently put together experience that although lacking in innovation or anything particularly new or original, provides the player with an enjoyable experience that can easily be dipped in and out of with minimal stress. Rogues Like Us does feel like a finished game that perhaps merely needs additional tweaks.

Heroes of Loot 2 is a simple little 2D, top down, dungeon crawler from Orange Pixel and is a progression and improvement on their original mobile game, Heroes of Loot. However it is apparent that its predecessor was a mobile game and very little has been innovated for the move to PC.
