The Earth has been inundated with mutant food in this quirky title from indie developer, Still Running. You are tasked with battling off the hordes in The Walking Vegetables, gaining upgrades along the way and taking on new areas and bosses. A wacky twin stick shooter that can be played alone or in co-op. There’s plenty to enjoy in this simple, but well-executed game.
Indie developer, Glass Isle Entertainment presents their first entry onto steam. A challenging 3D runner game, Undercity throws gradually more complex courses at you and provides the player with a game that features minimal story, but solid gameplay that does its job well. A decent slice of entertainment for those that enjoy perfecting their reaction times while moving at speed.
This delightful experience from Garden Shed Studios first entry onto Steam has a distinct arcade feel to it while blending hack and slash, dungeon crawling gameplay with rogue like mechanics. Challenging, varied and visually lovely, Super Stone Legacy is a game with significant amounts of re-playability that offers a vast amount of enjoyment.
Graphite Lab have created a rather frustrating 2D platform shooter that clearly benefits from multiplayer. Hive Jump is fun. The mechanics are all solid and the game itself is good in many ways but it feels like multiplayer is required, because when playing alone it quickly becomes somewhat irritating and repetitive. A promising experience that is probably fun to play with friends if you’re short on other multiplayer experiences to enjoy with them.
